The Venetian is one of the most spectacular hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.  Not only is it incredibly beautiful and a replica to some of the most fantastic sites in Venice, Italy; it has so much to offer.  From the most luxurious shopping to the lavish restaurants, The Venetian Hotel is the place to be!  I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel some time ago, even though I am a local, for a convention that I was attending.  Every room is a suite making this hotel a luxurious experience.  You will encounter the highest cleanliness, amazing food, and the friendly staff at the Venetian.  This hotel brings customer service to the ultimate high-level. And if you are a local, this is a great place to have a special date night with all the elegance of the hotel/casino and the wonderful dinning and available activities.

I have been fortunate to have visited this hotel numerous times as I live in the area and I used to call on the hotels and casinos for my work.  So as one of my favorite hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, here are the top 10 things to do and see at the Venetian Hotel and Casino:

1.      Shopping at the Venetian Hotel is definitely high-end.  The Grand Canal Shoppes comprise 160 stores! Louis Vuitton; Tory Burch; Burberry; Ferragamo just to name a few.

2.      Dinning has endless possibilities from the Food Court to more luxurious venues such as Wakuda and Sushi Samba there is something for everyone.

3.      Front Desk; Rewards & Parking: The Venetian offers mobile check in and has an amazing rewards program.  We signed up and received free parking and they had a bonus which added money to play with on table games.  When you arrive check at the Rewards desk to see what they are offering.

4.      The Gondola Ride is such a unique experience.  After taking a Gondola Ride in Venice, this experience is the next best thing!

5.      Nightlife: Sala 118 – new bar!  This is a beautiful bar and area to hang out with a group of friends or co-workers.  This is an Italian-inspired cocktail bar and is one of the newest drink destinations in Las Vegas!  There is a Negroni fountain and they make incredible espresso martini’s.  And don’t forget about Tao Nightclub, Tao is an Asian Bistro and nightclub in one.  Check out the Flight Club, this is an extraordinary bar designed as a British pub with a carousel bar.  The Social Darts are available for groups of 2-12, they accept reservations. Don’t forget to look into the shows and concerts.

6.      Pharma Box:  I have never seen something like this, such an interesting concept.  A pharmacy vending machine that will dispense needed items that you may have forgotten to pack.

7.      Dress Code: if you are just walking around there is no particular dress code, but check on the high-end restaurants and clubs to see what they require. 

8.      That’s Amore & LOVE – Insta! These are great places to take some Instagram photos! 

9.      Sandbox:  Immersive Virtual Reality Experience for groups of up to 6.  Check out the VR worlds!

10.   Le Savon – This is a luxury skincare store.  I had a good experience with their complimentary red light therapy session. 

11.   Donutique Bakery – This bakery is wonderful.  My husband loves donuts and they had some very fancy donuts.  They are a bit pricey, but we also had cappuccino which was really good.
